Carole D Monteiro
Speaking title: Blossom in Balance: Empowering Mature Moms to Thrive in Career, Personal Aspirations and Motherhood
Speaker's Bio:
Carole is a Certified Bilingual Counsellor and Coach specialising in supporting women over 40 as they navigate the transformative journey of motherhood. Drawing from her own experience as a mother who embraced motherhood at 42, Carole understands the unique challenges and rewards of balancing a career, being a wife, going through hormonal changes as a mature woman and raising a family later in life.
In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of women choosing to become mothers later in life. For instance, in the USA, there are 15,000 new mothers over 40, in Canada, the figure is 8,000, and in the UK, there are 9,000 new mothers in this age group. Despite this trend, there is a general lack of support available for these women. Additionally, the topic of having a baby after 40 still sparks debate, often neglecting the individual stories behind each woman’s pregnancy circumstances.
Originally from France, Carole moved to the UK 20 years ago without speaking a word of English. Through determination and self-teaching, she mastered the language and secured roles in the corporate sector, working as an Account Manager and Project Manager for renowned online retailers and studio entertainment companies. Despite her success, Carole yearned for a more purposeful life and transitioned into the non-profit sector, where she could serve beside dedicated organisations and make a tangible impact on communities, enriching her empathetic and inclusive approach. Her professional work experience includes implementing Health Hubs in Hackney and providing training in high-risk countries in the Global South. Her humanitarian work includes volunteering to care for the homeless in London and serving as an interpreter and advocate in Haiti.
In 2013, Carole founded her own interpreting agency, gaining her first enriching experience of UK entrepreneurship. This venture fuelled her passion for community work and personal development. In 2020, she launched the French YouTube channel “Maman Etc.”, where she shares invaluable insights on parenting, work-life balance, and personal growth drawn from her personal experience with her 8k subscribers.
Carole’s superpower is her ability to create harmony in the lives of the women she coaches. Her program, “Blossom in Balance: The Serenity Path for Women Over 40,” is designed to help mothers reclaim their peace and serenity amidst personal and professional demands, build resilience and create harmonious routines for a fulfilling life. Carole’s support helps transform lives by:
- Attaining Balance: Assisting women in finding a satisfying equilibrium between professional obligations, personal life, and motherhood.
- Boosting Confidence: Instilling confidence to smoothly juggle dual roles without self-doubt.
- Achieving Serenity: Guiding new mothers towards a calm, composed mental state in late motherhood.
- Empowering Selfhood: Encouraging women to reclaim their individuality while excelling as mothers and professionals.
- Cultivating Supportive Community: Building a supportive network to foster a sense of belonging and mutual understanding.
Carole is also the author of “Gifted and Empowered: Secrets to Unlock and Use Your Unique Brilliance Confidently,” a guide for women seeking to harness their unique gifts and live purposefully. Through practical strategies, inspiring stories, and transformative exercises, she helps women discover their true potential and make a lasting impact on the world
Join Carole where she will share her insights on balancing motherhood and career, reclaiming serenity, and thriving in personal and professional realms. Prepare to be inspired and empowered to embark on your own journey of growth and fulfilment.

Speaker's Bio:
We immersed ourselves in the enchanting beauty of our village and worked the land with family, instilling values of hard work and unity.
At the tender age of nine, my passion for music blossomed, and I found myself singing alongside my granddad professionally, who was also my music coach. This ignited a lifelong love for music and sports that would go on to shape my path.
Delving into the stories and wisdom passed down from my parents and grandparents captivated me, making me realize that our lives are shaped by countless decisions and experiences.
Embracing this perspective, I embarked on a unique journey, becoming an accomplished professional footballer, musician, speaker, love harmonist and psychologist. Additionally, I created “nkositalkshows” and “Hope Spring Eternal Introduction Agency” to empower others.
I am committed to making a positive impact on people’s lives and contributing to the betterment of our community. Join me on this journey of growth and empowerment as we strive for a brighter and more fulfilling future together.

Carol Anne Cooper
Speaker's Bio:
My name is Carol Anne and one of my biggest passions in life is movement. I am committed to people moving through whatever is in the way of them having what they want.
My journey from head teacher of mathematics to writing facilitator, speaker and award-winning author, began by finding Educational Kinesiology/Brain Gym®, which supported my daughter through her academic struggle.
My first breakthrough was achieving an English Language ‘A’ (advanced) level, something I thought was beyond me, because I had always struggled with writing – the thought of writing a book was a revelation and shock to me.
A drive from within guided the journey and through immersing myself in this work, I have found an innate ability to be with people, be in tune with them and support them in moving their story from their heart and soul onto paper and into the world.
In December 2019 I was thrilled to become an award-winning author by taking part in The Community Book Project 20/20 Vision with Donna Kozik.
I am delighted that all my experience and training has taken shape in my writing workshops, programmes and writing retreats, and I look forward to sharing them with you.
